Summer classes will be held for 6 weeks, from July 2-August 10.

Summer Dance Day Camp, for ages 8-11, and Summer Dance Intensive,
for ages 12-15, will be held for 2 weeks, from July 16-July 27.

Summer Camp for the Little Ones, with Justine Maletta, for ages 3-6
will be held for 2 weeks: June 25-June 29 and July 30-August 3

Saugerties Ballet Center, founded in 1984, provides the area with a fresh and energetic exposure to dance. The school offers training on a professional basis for students of all levels of dedication. Body awareness, muscle control, creativity and joy of movement are all stressed. Students attending the Saugerties Ballet Center will benefit from the guidance and supervision of qualified instructors who will pass on their professional knowledge and experience.

SBC is the official school of the Ulster Ballet Company. Classes at Saugerties Ballet Center are offered for all ages and levels. Mother Goose and Pre-Ballet classes introduce 3-6 year olds to coordination, rhythm and creativity through dance movement. Beginning ballet students enter a more structured and disciplined class with barre and center work. A more intense study begins at Intermediate levels when students are encouraged to take several classes per week. Students participate in two school recitals each year, one in December and one in June. Many students are chosen by audition to perform with the Ulster Ballet Company.

SBC introduces classes in other dance styles and performing arts through special workshops offered throughout the season, including Hip Hop, Swing/Salsa, Modern Dance, Television Technique, Mat work, Floor Barre, Yoga, Flamenco, Men's Class and Partnering.
