Janelle Jobson studied dance at Saugerties Ballet Center since the age of five and has performed with Ulster Ballet Company since 2007. Janelle started with supporting roles in UBC’s annual production of “A Christmas Carol.” In 2015, she took her place as a principal dancer in the role of The Spirit of Christmas Past. Throughout the years, Janelle has performed in many other roles with the Ulster Ballet Company. After taking a year off from dance to have her daughter, Janelle is looking forward to returning as an instructor, a performer and to continue her love for dance.

Once again I was smiling deep inside witnessing the Love of Dance emanating from the stage from the littlest ballerina to the oldest dancers. It is truly evident, the love shared within your dance family. The respect teacher to student allows for deep respect back, student to teacher, in a time when such things are rare to see.
