SBC Snow Day Policy
If the weather is bad…
Please note that SBC does NOT automatically close when public schools close, as often the roads will be clear and safe by the time SBC opens. In times of inclement weather, we will do the following to keep you informed:
1. Leave a message on the school voicemail 2 hours before classes are scheduled to begin.
2. Post the class status on Instagram and FaceBook.
3. Post class status on saugertiesballet.com
Please make sure you have an SBC calendar for a listing of scheduled closings.
Making up classes is encouraged!
When classes are missed due to illness, or if classes are cancelled due to snow, they may be made up in an alternate class suggested by the teacher. A guide of possible choices that can be used to make up missed classes is posted on the bulletin board at the studio and available here. SBC Chart for Make-up Classes. If more than four of the same class is cancelled due to inclement weather, SBC will schedule make up classes for each class cancelled AFTER the fourth missed class
