SBC Policies
TUITION

First installment is due upon registration.Click here for SBC tuition fee schedule.

Class schedule will run for 13 weeks from September 14 through December 19 and tuition will be posted in 4
 installments.

The 4 installments will be due:

(1) Upon registration
(2) October 5, 2026
(3) November 2, 2026
(4) December 7, 2026

The school will prorate installments for students who join late in the year.


Tuition is not refundable.

– Payment installments may not be alternated with single class fees.
– A registration fee is required: $20 for every FAMILY
– Payments will be accepted online, through the parent portal
– A $10 late fee will be charged to all payments received more than 8 days past their due date.


DRESS CODE
All SBC students are required to follow the dress code for their class; dress code is included in the class description of your portal or please refer to the SBC dress code chart.

All Students MUST have their hair UP and pulled out of their face!
– Students in C and D levels must have their hair in a bun
Students MAY NOT BRING CELL PHONES IN THE STUDIO unless special permission has been given – please leave them in the dressing room or put away in a bag.
Boxer shorts are NOT permitted in ballet class.
Gum chewing is not permitted in any class.


SCHOOL CLOSINGS
– Please note the studio does not automatically close when schools close for Snow Days!

Check the school calendar for scheduled school closings. When classes are missed due to illness, or if classes are cancelled due to snow or inclement weather, they may be made up in an alternate class suggested by the teacher.  Announcement of cancellation of classes will be emailed and posted on the Saugerties Ballet Center facebook, instagram, and saugertiesballet.com

There will be planned closings:
Monday, October 12

Saturday, October 31
Monday, November 23 – Saturday, November 28


SCHOOL PERFORMANCES
SBC will be presenting a Winter Recital tentatively planned on Saturday December 19 at Saugerties High School.
Once confirmed, more details will follow via email.
All students are encouraged but not required to participate.


SAFETY IN THE STUDIO
To minimize the spread of illness in general, we ask that students, their caregivers, and siblings who are feeling ill – please stay at home, be safe and recover.

Air Purifiers with a HEPA filter are used as part of the daily cleaning / disinfecting regiment. Please contact saugertiesballet@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

LOST AND FOUND
PLEASE LABEL ALL SHOES AND CLOTHING.  Contact SBC immediately regarding any lost articles.

If there are ever any PROBLEMS OR QUESTIONS about classes, school policies, etc, please do not hesitate to contact Justine or the appropriate teacher.  If there is not enough time to address between classes, please send us an e-mail.  You will be contacted promptly.  Having your input helps us continue to serve you best!
